UFood Grill Healthy Eating Brand Signs for 10 Airport Locations

UFood Restaurant Group, Inc. announced that it has signed a Master License agreement with premier travel retailer Hudson Group Retail LLC for the expansion of its UFood Grill concept to 10 additional US airports.UFood Grill currently operates fast casual restaurants in Boston’s Logan International Airport and the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, two of the busiest airports in the world. The company recently entered into a franchise agreement for a location at Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport.The company slogan is “Feel great. Eat Smart.” They specialize in cuisine that contains “better-for-you” versions of traditional fast food favorites. Offerings include healthy, low-fat dishes made with natural and organic ingredients, fresh produce, whole grains and light cheeses and dressings. All UFood menu items are baked, grilled or steamed; nothing is fried. In addition, nutritional information for each food item is accessible and accurate.Airports have burgeoning “healthy eating” segments in the Food & Beverage market and UFood is seeking to clearly be on the cutting edge.Headquartered in Boston, Food Restaurant Group, Inc. is a franchisor and operator of fast-casual food service restaurants.
