Synergy was retained to develop the food, kitchen production and operating systems ready for a fast-track expansion strategy for Boston Market.

For six months we finely tuned several prototype designs into a final design that was ready for a fast-track rollout. We were opening restaurants, conducting focus groups simultaneously and modifying recipes based on the feedback we received from the research. We were also commercializing as many raw materials (pre marinated chicken, all sauces, dressing, side dishes) to support rapid expansion and taking both labor and square footage out of the back-of-house to make their financial model work.
