DESCRIPTION
SMOKED ROADHOUSE CHILI SEASONING is a complete, perfectly balanced blend of premium Spices, Herbs and Natural Flavors designed to prepare authentic Southwestern style Chili. SMOKED ROADHOUSE CHILI SEASONING can also be used as a Seasoning for other Mexican style Dips, Sauces, Soups, Refried Beans and casseroles. Use SMOKED ROADHOUSE CHILI SEASONING anytime an authentic Southwestern or Mexican Flavor is desired.

Because our SMOKED ROADHOUSE CHILI SEASONING MIX is blended under rigid standards, using only the highest quality, freshest ingredients possible, the product remains absolutely consistent, a must in today's food service environment.

Chili Pepper, Garlic, Spices (including Red Pepper), Salt, Sugar, Beef Base (Dextrose, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Onion, Corn Starch, Beef Extract, Autolyzed Yeast, Caramel Color, Disodium Inosinate & Disodium Guanylate), Paprika, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein.

COARSE (CHILI) GROUND BEEF
8 OUNCES 4 POUNDS 1/4" DICED YELLOW ONION
8 OUNCES 4 POUNDS 1/4" DICED CELERY
3 CUPS 1 1/2 GALLONS BEEF BROTH OR STOCK
3 OUNCES 1 PACKET (24 OZ) ROADHOUSE CHILI SEASONING
1 1/2 CUPS 1- -#10 CAN COARSE GROUND TOMATOES IN PUREE
1 1/2 CUPS 1- #10 CAN DICED TOMATOES, canned, with juice
1 1/2 CUPS 1-#10 CAN KIDNEY BEANS, canned, rinsed, drained

PROCEDURE

  1. Cook ground beef, using high heat, until browned, breaking up the meat into small, bite-sized pieces. Remove excess fat as necessary.

  2. Add onion and celery and continue cooking 6-8 minutes, until tender.

  3. Add beef broth or stock, and seasoning, blend all ingredients, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 MINUTES.

  4. Add tomato products and beans, blend well, and continue simmering an additional 35 MINUTES.

  5. Prior to serving, skim all excess Fat that has collected on the Chili's surface.

NOTE: For an interesting twist, try substituting cooked, drained Black Beans for the Kidney Beans and replacing the Ground Beef with cooked, shredded Chicken Meat (boneless and skinless).
