DESCRIPTION
It tastes great, it's versatile, and it's affordable!!! That's what our Customers tell us about PARMESAN HERB FOCACCIA SEASONING. A full flavored blend of real grated Parmesan Cheese, Oregano, Basil, Onion, Garlic and other Spices, our PARMESAN HERB FOCACCIA SEASONING allows for maximum flexibility in your kitchen. A wonderful 'Focaccia' Butter can be prepared and used as a fresh-made Crouton Seasoning, a compound Butter for flavoring Pasta dishes, for sautéing, grilling or broiling a wide variety of Fish, Seafood, Poultry and Vegetable dishes, and is terrific as an Herb Roasted Chicken Seasoning. Additionally, PARMESAN HERB FOCACCIA SEASONING can be added to Bread Crumbs to become a great breader or 'gratin' topping for Vegetables, Seafood, Poultry and other proteins. And PARMESAN HERB FOCACCIA SEASONING can be added to Mayonnaise to prepare a great tasting spread for Sandwiches and other applications. As with all Dean & Danny's products, PARMESAN HERB FOCACCIA SEASONING is blended without the addition of MSG.

Because PARMESAN HERB FOCACCIA SEASONING is blended under rigid standards, using only the highest quality, freshest ingredients possible, the product remains absolutely consistent, a must in today's food service environment.

INSTRUCTIONS

FOR HERBED FOCACCIA MAYONNAISE
Using a rigid wire whisk or electric mixer fitted with the whip attachment, thoroughly blend 1 CUP PARMESAN HERB FOCACCIA SEASONING with 1 QUART Mayonnaise, 1/2 CUP Half ‘n Half Cream and 1 TABLESPOON Chopped Fresh Garlic. Chill 4 hours prior to serving. Yields 1 1/4 QUARTS.

FOR FOCACCIA BUTTER
Using a rigid wire whisk or electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, thoroughly blend 1 1/4 POUNDS PARMESAN HERB FOCACCIA SEASONING with 5 POUNDS softened Butter or Margarine and 6 OUNCES Chopped Fresh Garlic. Chill 4 hours prior to using. Yields approximately 6 1/4 POUNDS finished Butter.

Parmesan Cheese (Part-Skim Milk, Cheese Cultures, Enzymes), Garlic, Onion, Spices, Salt, Paprika, not over 2% Silicon Dioxide as Anticaking Agent.

APPLICATIONS

Listed below are suggestions for preparing various foods using PARMESAN HERB FOCACCIA SEASONING:

FOR HERBED FOCACCIA MAYONNAISE

  • Prepare an Italian Grilled Chicken Breast and serve on warm, grilled Focaccia Bread spread with HERBED FOCACCIA MAYONNAISE and topped with crisp Lettuce, sliced Tomato and sweet Red Onion.

  • Prepare a great Wrap Sandwich by spreading the Bread/Tortilla with HERBED FOCACCIA MAYONNAISE, then 'stuff' it with grilled Chicken, grilled Vegetables, Roma Tomatoes, Mesculin Wild Greens and Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing.

  • Drizzle a fresh, steamed Artichoke with our FOCACCIA BUTTER and serve with a side of HERBED FOCACCIA MAYONNAISE.

  • HERBED FOCACCIA MAYONNAISE is a great dip for Crudite Vegetables, Toasted Ravioli, Fried Zucchini or Crisp-Fried Artichoke Hearts.

CHICKEN

  • Liberally mop chicken (whole, halves or pieces) with FOCACCIA BUTTER, sprinkle with additional PARMESAN HERBED FOCACCIA SEASONING, then roast to a golden brown. Produces a delicious Herbed Roasted Chicken.

  • Grill Chicken Breasts, basting with FOCACCIA BUTTER, then serve as a Sandwich component (above) or Main Dish feature.

FISH

  • Baste your favorite Fish liberally with FOCACCIA BUTTER while cooking on the char-broiler. Works exceptionally well with fresh Halibut, Haddock, Sea Bass and Salmon.

SHRIMP

  • Dip butterflied Shrimp into melted FOCACCIA BUTTER, then top with fresh slivered Garlic and an even blending of PARMESAN HERB FOCACCIA SEASONING and fresh Bread crumbs. Bake in a hot oven until cooked and golden browned. Serve as an Appetizer or Main Course feature.

VEGETABLES/STARCHES

  • Fresh Sliced Vegetables (Zucchini, Bell Peppers, Onion, etc.) char-broiled and basted with FOCACCIA BUTTER offers a more upscale approach to plate Accompaniments or Light Luncheon Entrees.

  • Toss Idaho Potato 'Spears' in melted, warm FOCACCIA BUTTER, then arrange on a baking tray. Sprinkle with additional PARMESAN HERB FOCACCIA SEASONING and roast in a 475 degree oven until cooked, browned and crisp. Parmesan Herb Roasted Potatoes are a great Side Dish offering.
