DESCRIPTION
CHILI RUB SEASONING MIX is a high quality, all-purpose Seasoning Blend of premium spices and Natural Flavors designed to enhance the Southwestern Flavors desired in broiled or grilled Chicken or selected Fish varieties. Simply brush firm Fish Fillets/Steaks or Chicken Breasts with Vegetable Oil, evenly coat with a liberal dusting of CHILI RUB SEASONING MIX, and char-broil or grill. For added flavor and moisture, baste the product while broiling or grilling with our SANTA FE BARBECUE BUTTER.

CHILI RUB SEASONING MIX is also a wonderful seasoning for use in Taco Fillings, Salsa, Mexican Style Dips, Soups, Chili and Refried Beans. Use according to your tastes before and after cooking to add a special taste to any food item where an authentic Southwestern flavor is desired.

CANNED DICED TOMATOES, with the can's juices

PROCEDURE

  1. Place the ground beef into the steam-jacketed kettle (or suitable size sauce/sauté pan). Using high heat, cook the meat, stirring occasionally to ensure uniform cooking, until completely cooked and broken up into bite-sized pieces.

  2. After cooking the meat, add the diced onion and celery, chili rub seasoning mix and canned, diced tomatoes. Thoroughly blend all ingredients.

  3. Reduce the heat to a medium setting and cook the taco meat for 5-8 minutes, stirring to ensure uniform heating, until the onion and celery is tender.

  4. Remove the meat from the kettle (or pan) and divide evenly into the appropriate serving pan(s). Cool the meat as directed.
