DESCRIPTION
BACON CRUMB TOPPING MIX is a flavorful blend of Cracker Crumbs, Grated Parmesan Cheese, real Bacon Crumbles and specially selected Herbs and Spices. As with our other high quality products, BACON CRUMB TOPPING MIX is blended without the addition of MSG. The outstanding flavor and texture of BACON CRUMB TOPPING affords the operator various applications, both as a unique topping on vegetables, pasta and other casserole/gratin dishes, as well as a Breader/Coater on Fish, Chicken, Vegetables, and even a seven layer taco casserole! Our CRUMB TOPPING is also available without Bacon Crumbles, providing a reduced cost, non-meat alternative.

BACON CRUMB TOPPING is simple to prepare, following package instructions and has a shelf life, after blending, of 5-6 days (refrigerated). Ease of preparation and extended shelf life, at affordable costs, makes BACON CRUMB TOPPING a very cost-effective menu enhancer.

Because BACON CRUMB TOPPING MIX is blended under rigid standards, using only the highest quality, freshest ingredients possible, the product remains absolutely consistent, a must in today's food service environment.

INSTRUCTIONS
Using gloved hands, thoroughly blend ENTIRE contents of BACON CRUMB TOPPING MIX package with 12 OUNCES softened Cream Cheese or high quality Compound Butter of your choice.

INGREDIENTS
Cracker Crumbs (Enriched Wheat Flour (contains Niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate {Vitamin B1}, riboflavin {Vitamin B2}, partially-hydrogenated soybean & cottonseed oil, lard, sugar, Corn syrup, salt, leavening (Baking Soda & Calcium Phosphate), Malted Barley Flour and Soy Lecithin), Parmesan Cheese (Pasteurized Cultured Milk, Salt, Enzymes), Bacon Bits (Cured with Water, Salt, Sodium Erythorbate, Sodium Nitrite. May also contain Sugar, Dextrose, Brown Sugar, Sodium Phosphate, Flavorings), Salt, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Onion, Orange Powder, Soy Flour, Yeast, Spices (including Kelp, Horseradish, Mustard Flour, Bell Pepper, Parsley, Mushroom Powder, Spinach Powder, Tomato Powder, Paprika).

APPLICATIONS
Listed below are suggestions for preparing various foods using BACON CRUMB TOPPING MIX:

PASTA

  • Prepare Scallop and Pasta St. Jacque and place into appropriate service dish. Top with BACON CRUMB TOPPING and lightly brown in cheesemelter.

  • Top your favorite Pasta Casserole with a light sprinkling of BACON CRUMB TOPPING before baking to add a signature flavor and appearance. Excellent with Baked Pasta and Vegetables in Creamy Parmesan Sauce, Crumb Topped Broccoli with Rotelli and Smoked Ham, All-American Macaroni and Cheese with Chunked Tuna.

VEGETABLES & POTATOES

  • An excellent topping when used in conjunction with Baked Vegetable and Potato recipe selections. Try BACON CRUMB TOPPING on Baked Broccoli/Cheddar Cheese Casserole, Baked eggplant Parmesan, Creamy Cheese or Scalloped Potatoes.

CHICKEN

  • Dip Boneless Chicken Breasts in Vegetable Oil or Melted Compound Butter (ie. Garlic). Gently press a uniform, light coating of BACON CRUMB TOPPING onto all Chicken surfaces. Pan-fry, flat-grill or broil the Chicken until golden brown. Serve with Marinara or Creamy Mornay Sauce.

FISH

  • Brush a portion of your favorite Fish liberally with Vegetable Oil or Melted Compound Butter (ie. Lemon-Garlic). Gently press a uniform, light coating of BACON CRUMB TOPPING onto all Fish surfaces. Cook the Fish by char-broiling, flat-grilling or pan-frying until golden brown and crisp. Serve with appropriate sauce. Works exceptionally well with Swordfish, Halibut, Snapper, Catfish, Orange Roughy.

  • Top Stuffed Fish recipes with an even sprinkling of BACON CRUMB TOPPING, then bake or pan-broil to a golden brown.
